As a Cuban American, I’ve had the privilege of growing up bilingual. However, ever since I was young, I have wanted to learn even more languages. I have always been fascinated by different cultures, accents and uniqueness you can find in every part of the world. In that sense, I have been very lucky to grow up in such a diverse city as Miami. I always knew the third language I wanted to learn was French. When I was a little girl, my uncle was studying in Switzerland, and on his breaks, he would come to visit and would teach me new French words. Now in college I am working on this lifelong dream and learning my third language. My dream doesn’t end here though. I want to continue learning new languages and improving my skills throughout the course of my life. In this globally interconnected world, I want to follow the path of a global learner and explorer, and I am very excited for what the future holds
